What will I learn?
In this workshop you will learn to draw from a real model. You will learn the basics that are needed step by step. The day is always divided into three hours of theory and practical exercises and three hours of portrait drawing. Our instructors will teach you how to use measurement methods to transfer a face with its correct proportions and how to capture the right emotion and keep it forever.

What will I need?
First of all: curiosity and a good attitude. You will receive a list of materials via email after you register (the cost for these will be between 30 to 50 Euros, depending on whether you already own any materials). You can also purchase all of the required materials from us, if that is more convenient for you.

What will I learn?
In this workshop you will learn to paint from a real model. After an introduction to the materials, the method of measurement and a few exercises, the work from the model begins. The first step is to make a preliminary drawing, which is then transferred to the canvas with the correct proportions. Next, step by step, we paint the colors and different layers. Our instructors will teach you how to mix skin colors, paint hair and realistically work out the facial features and expression.

What do I need to bring?
First of all: curiosity and a good attitude. You will receive a material list by e-mail after your registration. (If you don’t own any materials, the purchase costs can be quite high. But if that is too much for you at the beginning, you can also use materials from the Academy for a fee and decide afterwards if you want to buy them or not. The cost is therefore about 40 – 250 €, depending on what materials you already have).

This workshop takes place as a 10-day workshop with 6 hours of instruction per day (Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm).

What will I learn?
In this workshop you will learn to draw from a real model. You will learn the basics step by step. The day is always divided into three hours of theory and practical exercises and three hours of portrait drawing. In this workshop, our instructors will teach you how to use measurement methods to transfer a face with its correct proportions and how to properly capture the emotion at hand and hold on to it forever. In the second week you will learn to paint a portrait in oil. We will work mainly with the same model both weeks, so you will have plenty of time to work on all the details as well, if you like.

What do I need to bring to the workshop?
First of all a lot of curiosity and a good mood. For everything else you will receive a material list by e-mail after your registration. (The costs are between 50 – 200 €, depending on which materials you already have). Of course you can also get everything from us if you prefer.
