Our workshops in realistic drawing and painting, will teach you the foundation that is also helpful for our advanced figurative workshops. In this workshop you will create wonderful artworks that will show your potential and also sharpen your art skills. It also gives you a good feeling for the atmosphere and the way we are teaching if you are thinking about our full- or part-time programs.

In these workshops you learn to draw or paint from the model. Depending on which focus you choose, it is portrait or figure drawing or painting. Together with our teachers you will master this challenging area in art. You will learn the basics step by step.

In our sculpture workshops you learn how to sculpt realistically in clay. Students on all levels are welcome. Besides learning how to measure and transfer the correct proportions to your sculpture you will learn about materials and develop primary craft skills. This experience is a valuable knowledge for all artists. Our workshops offer a good opportunity to get to know the academy. Many participants decide after attending a workshop to become a student.

In this workshop we will guide you through the basics and main topics that our students in the full-time program also learn. During the entire four weeks you will participate in a so-called long pose. This means that you will draw from the same nude model in the same pose for 3 hours a day and will be able to learn figurative drawing intensively.

In the workshop you will learn our techniques to transfer proportions exactly and to shade correctly. With different exercises we train your eye and explain how light and shadow work to create a 3-D effect.
