Matt Weigle

Workshop Instructor

Matt Weigle was born in 1978 in Pennsylvania (USA). He knew at an early age that he wanted to become an artist. From 1997 to 2001 he studied at the Pennsylvania College of Art. He successfully completed this degree. As he was mainly taught abstract art he increasingly felt the desire to learn classical drawing and painting. He then completed the Academy’s Master Program in 2008. Soon after he signed in America’s most famous school for traditional painting and drawing, the Grand Central Atelier in New York. Over 4 years he comprehensively learned classical, realistic drawing and painting and acquired a solid basis for the work as a professional artist and teacher in the area of fine art.

During his years in New York with the attendance at the Hudson River School he was also able to expand his expertise in landscape painting. At the Academy of Fine Art Germany he is especially responsible for creating and conducting our workshops.
